India, June 30 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled India's women's squad for the 2026 Asian Games, set to take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The team heads into the continental event as the defending gold medallists after winning the title at the previous edition in Hangzhou, China.

Harmanpreet Kaur will once again captain the side, while Smriti Mandhana has been appointed vice-captain. All-rounder Shreyanka Patil has been included in the squad, pending fitness clearance. The Asian Games will run from September 19 to October 4, with the women's cricket tournament scheduled between September 17 and 22.
