India, Sept. 16 -- The series will give both teams an opportunity to test their squads across the 50-over and T20 formats. For India, the three-match ODI series will also be an important opportunity to begin preparations for the ICC ODI World Cup 2027, with the team expected to assess players and combinations ahead of the global tournament. West Indies, meanwhile, will look to put up a strong challenge during their visit.

The ODI leg will begin in Thiruvananthapuram on September 27 before moving to Guwahati and New Chandigarh. The five-match T20I series will then travel to Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
