India, Sept. 21 -- India vs Japan All You Need To Know: India will take on Japan in a historic one-off T20I at the Sano International Cricket Ground in Sano, Kanto, Japan, on September 22, 2026. The match will be the first-ever senior men's T20I meeting between the two teams.

Shreyas Iyer will captain India in the contest, with the squad featuring several established international names including Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel.
