India, Aug. 20 -- Cricket fans are set for a major broadcast upgrade when India and Afghanistan meet in their three-match T20I series in New Delhi next month. Production expertise used during the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be brought into cricket for the first time at this scale. The rights holder, ITW Universe, plans to combine advanced camera systems, player tracking, augmented reality and immersive storytelling. The aim is to deliver a football-style broadcast experience while keeping cricket's tactical detail at the centre during the India vs Afghanistan T20I series.
