India, Sept. 28 -- Indian equities started Monday's session under pressure as investors reacted to higher crude oil prices, ongoing geopolitical tensions and persistent foreign fund outflows. The BSE Sensex fell 851.82 points, or 1.15%, to 73,043.92, while the Nifty50 declined 277.55 points, or 1.20%, to 22,863.05 during early trading.

The decline extended the benchmark indices' losing streak to seven sessions. Over this period, both indices have fallen nearly 6%.
