India, Aug. 29 -- The Department of Posts has opened the recruitment process for 23,757 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts under the GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026. The notification was issued on August 27 under Advertisement No. 17-12/2026-GDS. The recruitment includes vacancies for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak positions across various postal circles.
