India, Sept. 30 -- India scripted one of the most audacious run chases in cricket history on Wednesday, hunting down a mammoth target of 406 against West Indies with eight wickets in hand at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.

Led by captain Shubman Gill's unbeaten 223 and Rohit Sharma's blistering 101, the hosts turned an intimidating chase into a one-sided boundary feast, romping home in just 43.3 overs with 39 balls to spare.
