India, Aug. 23 -- Shubman Gill-led India will look to complete a series sweep after making a winning start to their ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 campaign in Galle. India will aim to carry their momentum into the Colombo Test, while Sri Lanka will look to bounce back and level the series.

India's Devdutt Padikkal and Manav Suthar were among the standout performers in the opening Test. Padikkal scored 167 and 44 to win the Player of the Match award, while Suthar continued his impressive start to Test cricket with a 10-wicket match haul.

The second Test will see Saransh Jain make his Test debut for India. The off-spinner was presented with his debut cap by Ravindra Jadeja, while Kuldeep Yadav misses out from the playing XI.
