India, Sept. 18 -- Shreyas Iyer added a memorable touch to India's Friendship Cup celebrations in Delhi on Thursday by making Afghanistan captain Ibrahim Zadran part of the occasion. India had just wrapped up a commanding 3-0 series sweep after beating Afghanistan by 127 runs in the third T20I, but Iyer used the post-match presentation to highlight the spirit behind the contest rather than simply celebrating the victory.

After being presented with the Friendship Cup, Iyer called Zadran onto the podium and invited the Afghanistan skipper to share the trophy moment with him before the two captains carried it towards the champions board.
