India, June 5 -- Despite being arguably the most successful team across the two white-ball formats, the Indian cricket team has not had the best of results when it comes to the longest format. Head coach Gautam Gambhir, since taking on the mantle has overseen two whitewashes at home at the hands of New Zealand and South Africa. Team India also lost to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy under his tenure. As the team continues to be in transition, the Shubman Gill-led side has moved away from Rishabh Pant as the vice-captain.
