The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its organisational preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with a renewed focus on 100-120 constituencies where its performance was weak during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party is working on a targeted strategy centred on booth-level mobilisation, caste equations, cadre strengthening and candidate selection, while shifting greater attention towards rural areas to revive its support base.
