India, Sept. 13 -- Elena Rybakina produced a commanding display to defeat defending champion Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 in the US Open final and claim her third Grand Slam title. The Kazakh star's calm and controlled performance ended Sabalenka's 20-match winning run at Flushing Meadows, while her victory also means she is set to rise to the top of the WTA rankings. Sabalenka struggled to find her rhythm throughout the contest and finished with 35 unforced errors.
