India, June 16 -- Ilia Topuria has been discharged from a Washington, D.C. hospital following medical evaluations that confirmed he will not require surgery. According to a report by Spanish media outlet ABC, the former UFC lightweight champion spent only a few hours at the medical center. Examinations revealed that Topuria suffered non-displaced fractures in both orbital bones, with his right eye area sustaining the majority of the damage from the heavy impacts.
