India, July 21 -- The ongoing protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) have drawn support from the entertainment industry, with singers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Armaan Malik announcing that they are postponing the release of their upcoming songs. Both artistes said they did not feel it was the right time to launch new music while students across the country continue their demonstrations.

Singh was among the first celebrities to publicly express solidarity with the protesters. The rapper shared a note on Instagram where he announced that the teaser of his upcoming track Moonlight would be delayed in view of the prevailing situation.
