India, April 15 -- A covert investigation has raised serious concerns about medical safety standards at a government hospital in Pakistan, where unsafe injection practices may have led to a major HIV outbreak among children. The findings, reported by the BBC, point toward repeated violations of basic hygiene rules at THQ Hospital Taunsa in Punjab province.
The investigation, which included 32 hours of hidden camera footage, shows healthcare staff allegedly ignoring infection control protocols while treating patients. Authorities are now facing questions over how such practices may have gone unchecked for months.
