India, July 6 -- School Holiday Tomorrow (July 7, 2026): Heavy monsoon rains continue to disrupt transport, daily life and educational activities in large parts of India. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a few states are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours and the district administrations have been asked to take precautionary measures like shutting down schools in vulnerable areas.
