India, July 28 -- Himachal Pradesh has been facing turbulent weather for close to a month. Now, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released an orange alert as stormy weather continues to lash the hilly state. 7 districts have been placed on flash flood alerts.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Himachal Pradesh which indicates heavy to very heavy rains.
