India, Sept. 23 -- The initial public offerings of Hero Motors, Jindal Supreme, and SS Retail created a very conflicting situation in the Dalal Street market, as although Jindal Supreme and SS Retail offered themselves at a considerable premium, Hero Motors came in at a discount to its issue price and despite attracting 6.66 times subscription during the IPO.

Hero MotoCorp's equity share was quoted at Rs 82 in the NSE and Rs 82.10 in the BSE, which is lower than the issue price of Rs 84. This means that Hero MotoCorp's stocks have been offered at a discount of 2.38% in the NSE and 2.26% in the BSE.
