Srinagar August 26, Aug. 26 -- Snowfall has covered large parts of Ladakh, turning the region into a white wonderland and disrupting normal movement in high-altitude areas. Fresh visuals have surfaced from Penzi La, a high mountain pass situated at approximately 4,400 meters above sea level, near the Drang Drung Glacier in the scenic Zanskar Valley.
Penzi La serves as a critical link between Suru Valley and Zanskar and is known for its rugged terrain and breathtaking views. With the recent snowfall, the already challenging route has become more difficult for travelers, prompting authorities to issue cautionary advisories.
