India, July 26 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court has directed the Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh to appear in person if the State fails to comply with its earlier directions regarding the release of Rs 30.04 crore for the construction of the Central University's North Campus at Dharamshala.

The direction was issued by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice G S Sandhawalia and Justice Bipin C Negi while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), Atul Bhardwaj vs State of Himachal Pradesh & Others, on July 22.
