India, Sept. 3 -- Happy Janmashtami Wishes 2026: Krishna Janmashtami is one of the most important Hindu festivals and will be celebrated across India on Friday, 4th September 2026. The festival is observed with fasting, prayers, devotional songs, temple celebrations and midnight rituals and marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. As per Drik Panchang, Janmashtami will be celebrated on September 4 and Nishita Puja time is around midnight and continues till September 5. Timings vary as per locations.
