India, Sept. 15 -- Kalyan Bainsla, who was involved in the case of hit-and-run of the woman rider, has been arrested by the Police of Gurugram from Rajasthan. This arrest happened after the addition of Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on attempt to murder in the case. This was done after the analysis of the CCTV footage of the case. Bainsla will be taken to Gurugram for further investigations.

The case started when a video of a car running over a woman rider went viral on social media. On noticing that the video was circulated on social media, the Police of Gurugram registered a case at Sector 56 police station. At first, the case included provisions about rash driving and causing injury to the woman biker.
