India, April 4 -- The Gujarat government has started the Right to Education (RTE) admission process for the academic session 2026-27. Under the RTE Act, 25% seats in private schools are reserved for children from economically weaker and disadvantaged sections. This year, over 84,000 seats are available across the state, giving thousands of children access to free education.
