India, May 11 -- Sony has reportedly started promoting PlayStation 5 upgrades directly to PS4 users ahead of the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI, triggering fresh speculation about a possible major marketing partnership linked to GTA 6.

Several PlayStation users recently shared screenshots online showing Sony encouraging them to buy a PS5 before the game launches later this year. The move has attracted major attention because Rockstar Games has already confirmed that GTA 6 will initially release only on current-generation consoles.
