India, April 13 -- A serious cybersecurity scare has hit Rockstar Games after a ransomware group claimed it accessed internal company data (GTA 6) through a third-party system. The group, identified as ShinyHunters, has threatened to leak the stolen information unless its demands are met by April 14, 2026.

Rockstar has confirmed that a breach occurred but insists the incident is limited in scope. The company says no player data or game systems have been affected.
