India, Sept. 21 -- Patrick Clancy, the father whose three young children were killed by their mother in one of the nation's most closely watched recent murder trials, is breaking his silence for the first time on television Sunday evening, sitting down with CBS News correspondent Ross Douthat to discuss his bereavement, his lasting connection to his deceased children, and the vicious online conspiracy theories that have falsely implicated him in their deaths.

Joined by his new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, Clancy's appearance on 60 Minutes comes weeks after a jury deadlocked in the prosecution of his ex-wife Lindsay Clancy, leaving the case unresolved and prosecutors yet to decide whether to pursue a second trial.
