India, June 27 -- Prices of gold in the USA witnessed some rise on 27 June 2026 due to increased interest in the safety of investing in haven assets amidst continued turbulence in the world stock market and continued political unrest. Even though the price of bullion is still headed towards its fourth straight fall on the weekly front, the recovery seen on Friday indicated that precious metals are still considered to be a great hedge against times of market instability. Gold rose to around $4,089.80 per ounce, while silver also recorded good gains.
