India, Nov. 6 -- Gold prices are in the spotlight across India on Friday as buyers prepare to purchase the precious metal on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. With jewellery showrooms witnessing festive demand and investors closely monitoring bullion markets, 24K gold is priced at Rs.1,46,020 per 10 grams in Mumbai, while 22K gold stands at Rs.1,33,850 and 18K gold at Rs.1,09,520. In Delhi, 24K gold is slightly higher at Rs.1,46,170 per 10 grams.

Dhanteras is traditionally associated with prosperity, wealth and new beginnings, making it one of the most significant occasions for buying gold and silver in India.
