India, June 29 -- The prices of gold in India continued to slide on 29 June 2026 due to a general downturn in the international gold market amid the appreciation of the US dollar along with an increase in the yields of the US Treasury bonds with the domestic gold prices also falling from their all-time high seen in earlier months of the year, there was a tendency among individuals to sell off old gold jewelry for gains.
As per today's market rates, gold with 24 carats costs Rs.14,302 per gram, whereas gold with 22 carats and 18 carats cost Rs.13,110 and Rs.10,727 per gram, respectively while in comparison with the last trading period, there has been a decline in prices by Rs.93 per gram in 24K, Rs.85 in 22K, and Rs.69 in 18
