India, Sept. 4 -- Gold Price Today in India (September 4): Gold prices moved higher on Friday, with the latest domestic benchmark showing 24K gold at Rs.1,56,660 per 10 grams, while 22K gold stood at Rs.1,43,600 and 18K gold at Rs.1,17,490 per 10 grams. The latest rates are Rs.1,310, Rs.1,200 and Rs.980 higher, respectively, than the previous session.

The precious metal is also being closely watched in global markets as easing expectations of a September US Federal Reserve rate hike, a weaker dollar and lower Treasury yields have supported bullion. Comex gold was holding above $4,500 per ounce on September 4.
