India, Aug. 12 -- Gold Price Today in India (August 12): Gold prices climbed further in India on August 12, with all three major purity categories recording gains from the previous session. The latest market data showed 24K gold at Rs.15,486 per gram, or Rs.1,54,860 per 10 grams, while 22K gold stood at Rs.14,195 per gram and 18K gold at Rs.11,614 per gram.

The domestic rally came as international bullion prices strengthened. Spot gold moved around $4,495 per ounce, while traders also kept a close watch on crude oil prices and upcoming US inflation data for clues about the Federal Reserve's next policy move.
