India, July 31 -- India will have a strong presence in the men's javelin throw final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, with Neeraj Chopra leading the charge as one of the country's top medal contenders. India is the only nation to have all three of its athletes qualify for the final after Neeraj Chopra, Rohit Yadav and Yash Vir Singh successfully advanced from the qualification round.

The qualifying event was held in difficult headwind conditions, with Neeraj finishing fifth after recording a best throw of 79.61m.
