India, Sept. 30 -- Gandak River Flood Situation Latest News: The Gandak river has reached a record water level in Bihars West Champaran district after rainfall in Nepal. The high water level has damaged embankments. Caused flooding, in many villages. I am worried because authorities have stepped up monitoring as the water level continues to put pressure on flood-control structures raising the risk of further flooding.
