India, Aug. 24 -- The new HBO Harry Potter series has made another casting change and this one comes with a very familiar face. Kit Harington has been cast as Gilderoy Lockhart, the charming but rather questionable Defence Against the Dark Arts professor who enters the story in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Harington is stepping into the role after Nicholas Hoult, who was previously announced as Lockhart, exited the series because of scheduling issues involving his other projects. Hoult's casting had only been revealed earlier this month.
