India, Oct. 4 -- The return of high-profile cricket to Kashmir has given the Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium a historic moment, as Jammu & Kashmir takes on Rest of India in the prestigious Irani Cup from October 1 to 5. The occasion is significant for more than just cricket. The same stadium has previously witnessed an India West Indies international match. After a long gap, top level cricket has once again returned to the Valley, with some of the biggest names in Indian cricket taking the field in Srinagar.
