India, April 10 -- AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday sharpened his campaign for the forthcoming Assembly elections, mounting a strong attack on the ruling DMK and issuing a direct warning to DMK MP Kanimozhi at a rally in Chennai.

Speaking at a public meeting on Thiruvottriyur Road in the Royapuram constituency, Palaniswami cautioned Kanimozhi against placing trust in Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, suggesting that her pending legal case could see her "return to Tihar jail." He further alleged that her continued relevance within the DMK was due to the sidelining of her brother, M.K. Alagiri.
