India, May 27 -- Defending Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina was stunned in the second round of the ongoing French Open 2026 after she lost to Ukrainian Yuliia Starodubtseva. The 26-year-old defeated Rybakina 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(10-4) to win the second round tie. Rybakina's defeat means the bottom half of the draw is wide open, as the second seed was toppled in the second round.
