India, July 1 -- Two European giants will clash when France meet Sweden in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 game at the New York New Jersey Stadium on June 30. France have been considered among the favourites of the tournament after passing through the group stage with three back-to-back wins, whereas Sweden came through after a mixed season, including a heavy loss to the Netherlands, but sufficient points to qualify for the knockout rounds.

As the last 16 berth is on the line, Didier Deschamps' men are clearly the favourites, but Sweden will have to rely on their attacking pair to pose a threat to one of the best teams in the tournament.
