India, July 2 -- France recently experienced an intense heatwave during June 2026 that baked most of the country. Now, Meteo France has cautioned about the onset of another heatwave soon. Meanwhile reports have emerged that energy bills across France have surged due to the warm weather.

Meteo France's Warning

According to Meteo France, the state weather agency of France has warned that another heatwave is 'highly probable' and likely to start from this weekend.

"Temperatures are expected to rise again at the end of the week", its forecast stated. Currently temperatures have cooled down in Northern France while the South of France remains hot and humid.
