India, Aug. 29 -- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced an additional Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for eligible candidates. The extra FMGE exam will be conducted on October 31, 2026, giving foreign medical graduates an early opportunity to appear for the screening test.

The board has also agreed to several reforms following protests and demands raised by Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs). These changes aim to make the examination process more transparent and candidate-friendly.
