India, July 17 -- The winners of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final on 19 July will receive more than just the famous trophy and gold medals. For the first time in the tournament's history, FIFA will also present the champions with custom-made championship rings, introducing a tradition long associated with American sports to football's biggest stage.

FIFA confirmed the rings will debut after the final between Spain and Argentina at New York New Jersey Stadium.
