India, June 22 -- Portugal National Football Team: Michael Owen, a former player for England, believes that even though Portugal drew with DR Congo, Cristiano Ronaldo is still a player who can challenge Lionel Messi. The ex-England international is of the view that the Portuguese side, led by Ronaldo, did not have its chances bettered as Messi scored a hat-trick just the day before Portugal's opening game in the tournament. The former Manchester United forward warned those who doubt the veteran 41-year-old that they should not be surprised if Ronaldo gets a hat-trick against the Uzbekistan national football team.
