India, July 14 -- The Karnataka government have made special concessions on late-night operating hours to help deal with the vast influx of viewers expected to tune into live coverage of the current FIFA World Cup 2026, after Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced that pubs, restaurants and hotels can now operate up to 3:30 am, an extension from the original 1:00 am limit.
