India, May 21 -- Repolling across all polling booths in the Falta Assembly constituency of West Bengal concluded on Thursday with a strong voter turnout and heavy security deployment.

According to the Election Commission of India, the constituency recorded around 86.11 per cent voter turnout by the end of polling, although officials indicated the final percentage could increase further after complete updates.

Voting began at 7 am and continued till 6 pm across all 285 polling stations in the constituency located in the South 24 Parganas district.
