India, July 22 -- Facebook Outage Today (July 22): Hundreds of users reported problems accessing Facebook and Facebook Messenger on July 22, prompting many to ask whether the Meta-owned platforms were experiencing an outage.

Downdetector, which monitors service disruptions based on user reports, recorded a sharp increase in complaints during the morning hours in the US and later in the UK.

While the reported issues appeared to affect key features such as logging in, loading feeds and sending messages, Meta had not confirmed a widespread outage at the time.
