India, Sept. 13 -- Kimi Antonelli shone the brightest at the Spanish Grand Prix 2026 as Mercedes mastered the strategic twists of the new Madring circuit. Antonelli converted a second-place start into his eighth Grand Prix win of the season, beating Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.

Norris had started from pole, but a Virtual Safety Car and contrasting pit-stop fortunes swung the race towards Mercedes. George Russell finished fifth, while Lewis Hamilton retired with a brake problem. The result significantly reshaped the title battle.
