India, Sept. 7 -- Kimi Antonelli produced a remarkable comeback at Monza, charging from 19th on the grid to beat Mercedes teammate George Russell and win the 2026 Italian Grand Prix. The victory was his seventh of the season and extended his championship advantage over Russell to 66 points, while also making him the first Italian to win at Monza since Ludovico Scarfiotti in 1966.
Max Verstappen finished third, followed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, while Lewis Hamilton secured sixth for Ferrari.
