India, July 4 -- Fresh off his stunning Sprint Race victory earlier on Saturday, Kimi Antonelli continued his magical form by securing pole position for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone with the fastest lap of 1:28.111s. This marked the fifth pole position for the 19-year-old Italian in the 2026 Formula 1 season. Home favorite Lewis Hamilton recovered brilliantly in the closing moments of the final qualifying session to secure third on the grid. The home hero will start Sunday's race from the second row, behind teammate Charles Leclerc, who finished as second fastest, just 0.175s behind Antonelli.
