India, July 3 -- Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time during the only practice session ahead of the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. With just one hour available before sprint qualifying, drivers had limited time to fine-tune their cars, but Hamilton delivered a late flying lap to finish at the top of the standings.

The Kimi Antonelli impressed by ending the session in second, two-tenths behind Hamilton, while Charles Leclerc secured third for Scuderia Ferrari despite finishing half a second adrift of his teammate. George Russell and Oscar Piastri completed the top five heading into the rest of the weekend.
