India, May 27 -- According to an official media statement released by Alpine on Wednesday, the Italian couture firm Gucci will become the new title sponsor for the outfit from next season onward. This extraordinary commercial partnership sees the end of the four and a half year sponsorship renaming agreement with Austrian-based water treatment giant BWT. For the first time, a truly worldwide high-end fashion institute has entered into the top title position of a World Championship team. The Enstone-based outfit will undergo a complete rebranding process and will race under the competitive name of Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team.
